Those fram filters only flow about 90GPH. You need two of them for a 140 pump.

i have never heard that before. i need to investigate that now

Edt: sure enough, thats correct. got to get that of my car now

it is true but have you ever had a fuel delivery problem running one? I have run more hp than what you have through just one of them with no problem at all. are there other filters that are better? yes. now if you plan on running your NOS just run a new line and seperate system. check with Monte..

no i havn't had any problems. and i'm going to use an enrichment fuel system for NOS but now that is something that will be on my mind till i do something about it. if it flows 90 and i have a 140 pump, what good is the pump then? and i cant run 2 like suggested

yep gut I am wondering the same thing.... like i said last time at the track it was falling on its face on the higher rpms like the guy posted earlier... maybe thats part of it... and im getting cnc'd indys now

ok you two, how many gph can you flow past your needle and seat?

i agree with that too. are you gonna break my balls over a $30 filter?

Dominic,Thumperdart found out about the flow capaicty of the Fram filters the hard way, he flowed his fuel system with one and then added another one in parellel and pick up almost a 80% increase in ounces in 11 seconds He couldn't fatten the jets up enough to slow the car down before, he almost could jet it up enough after adding the second filter. That was with one of the fabled (I've run in the nines with one of them years ago pumps we all hear about on here Holley blue pumps and regulators ) He switch to one of Holleys newer and bigger pumps and he can now fatten the jetting up enough to slow the car down on power on the chassis dyno But he did have his pinion angle set the right way(CA way) before and after
