If I put a thermoquad on my 91 dakota will the tach and all the other instruments still work?

I am not causing global warming, I am just trying to hold off a impending Ice Age!

NO...I'm pretty sure the tach gets it's signal from the computer. If you are running a carb, I assume you are doing away with the comp. and also need to install some sort of electronic ignition to bypass the crank sensor. If you find a way to just run a carb without completely disconnecting the computer, then the tach would probably still work.

I am running a thermoquad on my 92 Dakota but I installed a 400 and got all new gauges. One thing I did luck out on though was that the A/C compressor clutch still works with no computer.
