Hello to all and Happy New Year, I did try searching the archives for an answer but failed. I have a 72 Challenger and want to swap the stock grille/header panel for a 71 grille assembly. I already have the 71 grille with center bracket and headlight bezels. I found the part pictured below on Paddock and Herb's. Both sites list it as a headlight bucket bracket. Paddock says it fits a 70 to 74 Challenger/Cuda, Herb's says it fits a 71 Cuda. Will this bracket allow me to swap the grille on my Challenger? Do I need anything else? If not, what do I need to install the 71 grille? As usual your is greatly apprediated. Thanks again.....Ed

Those look like 71 Cuda only headlight bucket brackets, they will not fit on a 1971 challenger, not without a cutting torch and a welder . I think you will need to find a pair of 71 Challenger fenders, to convert to the 71 Challenger grille, because the front area of the fender is completely different between 1971 and 1972. I could be wrong, maybe another member who has done this swap will chime in on this.
