Are the 68-71 440 pistons the same compression height, other than the six-pack ones?

copied from a prior post: 68-69 2.030 CH ~050 in the hole. 67 2.00' CH ~.080 in the hole. low comp 440 book says 1.990 CH but actually its 1.920 (check on that/I may have copied that wrong but iirc the 1.920" part is accurate). 440 six pak 2.060" CH ~ .020 in the hole

Thanks, did it say what the 70-71 standard 440 pistons where or are they the same as 68-69

I believe that the 70 piston is the same, and think the 71 piston is shorter, ie the 1.990 piston. Not 100% sure though. I might be off by one year.

Good to know, I've called the 68 - 69 as 2.03" ish, as others have claimed from 2.025" to 2.035", the Old DC book I have has 2.03" but only three significant figures, and my forged NHRA approved 2286P pistons measures 2.033"
