Removing the a/c compressor on my 78 New Yorker 400 until I can afford a vintage air/heat setup. Anyone know where or what part number pulley/bracket to bypass the compressor. My car has the dual pulley setup. Thanks for any help you can give. I'd keep the interior parts like the heat and AC box and use new modern stuff under the hood. Bouchillon performance would know and have the correct pulleys for you. You going to have to change more than one pulley possibly? JR there knows mopar pulleys, you may not be lucky enough to talk to him, but they know what you need. Call them.

I really want to get rid of all that extra nonsense that Chrysler used behind the dash is possible. I've eliminated almost all the weak links in the wiring and such and that oversized a/c and heater box will eventually go. I've worked with the vintage air stuff and it's pretty decent and compact. Trying to lighten this car up as much as possible and make it easier to work on in the future. Thanks for your help.

All new under the hood and all stock inside. Works really well and is cheaper than buying a whole new AC/heater box and then have to make it fit and hope it moves enough air.
