A few numbers, we went from 470 to 517 cfm and had an increase of velocity of 150 fpm.

They are for NMCA 10.5 na class, it will be the new motor for the mustang. We will also race it as an ultra street car. 555 inches , 4.563 bore 4.250 stroke. At 555 we think it will make more hp than the 632. Trying to kill some torque with the 4.25 stroke to make it easier to launch. It will be married to a liberty 5 speed prostock trans with a Bruno drive.

WOW, nice! These are what should have been available years ago from the aftermarket.(that point has and can be argued, don't bother) I wonder if INDY will cast them like that now? ...very nice

If these heads make the hp we are hoping for they will be available. We are 90 days from testing due to needing an intake which will be supplied by HRE. When they are done they will be available thru Best Machine Racing Engines. The port is a 1/4 in taller than the valve cover rail and still accepts a standard valve cover.

For a single 4, would it be hard to 'adapt' the 3x? Does it even need to be 'adapted'?

I don't think any production intake will fit, it will require sheet metal. They were designed for max effort heads up racing. But we will see how we get along there could be something available in the future. It probably would be a spacer kit for Indy stuff.

Chuck and Pete are a real benefit , But the port development was done with Goodwin Competition, Todd Goodwin in WI did all of the port design and fabrication.

Very nice.!!!! I have been reading on so many of these classes it gets confusing. Which one is it that only allows 540 cubic inch for big block Mopars?

Very nice heads! These are for a 4.84 Indy block right? Also how does the valve length compar to a B1?

You are correct , they are for the Indy Max 4.84 bore space block. If we get the performance we are looking for I am going to produce them for the 4.800 block. In the class racing we do, big motors are at a great disadvantage due the amount of weight we have to carry. In the future our new motors will be much smaller, there will be no need for anything with a bore greater than 4.500. We will take what we have found to work and condense it to 4.800.
As to the B1 question I no nothing about B1 stuff.
