hello,i just recieved my hood pin kit from B.TUCKER Inc,member here,my runner has a air grabber hood w/the holes already from factory,can NE1 please give me the correct height that the pin sticks up from the mounting spot and maybe a pic or two? also stupid but the hole the cotter pin sticks through? does it run side to side or front to back? thank you for any help,and i must say i'm impressed with the appearance of this kit. Darren

The hole runs front to back. When I installed mine, I just adjusted the height until it looked right. (clip just above the bezel)

If your hood doesn't have the holes through the outer skin yet, I'd suggest mounting the studs, putting a dab of paint on the tip of each and carefully lower the hood onto the pins. You should end up with a paint spot marking the center of your hole. Drill a pilot hole with a 1/8" bit from below, then use a hole saw or greenlee punch from the topside to get the opening to your final dimension.
