With or without "Air Grabber" (open grilles)??

With "Air Grabber" (FRESH AIR) they are reddish orange, without they are black. There are many opinions on the color of red so hang on. The black for the non-Air Grabber is........

The OE solid metal inserts are definitely all semi-flat black. I have done some research on the fresh air screens. It seems like the screens in hoods with the black ralley stripe hood treatment are all red and that the screens in early 69 built cars with body color painted hoods were semi-flat black while the later built 69's with body color painted hoods had red screens. Personally, if you have ram-air, I like the red ones whether they came black or not. Unless you are going for a concours gold, nobody will question the red screens.

i found chrysler industrial red at advance auto of all things. it matched mine perfectly. as for the hood treatment they called it organosol black. the ppg/ditzler paint number is da-9355 or ddl-9355. i hope this helps
