Any one try one of these yet? Says you can eliminate the ballast resistor as well. I had one of his original black boxes and coil and it worked good. The only problem I had was the coil broke right around the coil wire but was replaced at no cost.

If he says it works, I would think it probably works well. I also ran his black box and it worked very well. I still have it

We have so few warranty issues that if a customer has a problem in a reasonable length of time we will always look after it.

We have Over 3000 of these units in 11 countries all working flawlessly, 180 on the shelf, unlimited production capabilities and NO Warranty issues.

If you have a tooth ache may I suggest you not call a proctologist .. If you need to update your ignition system don't call a paint and body shop....

My only question would be does the guy who sells this box use it on his own race car. My quick reseach says no.

Looks like he uses a Daytona Sensors ignition on his own car.

Things thay make you say hmmmmm.

Yes because I run Pro Bracket and launch with a trans brake at 4700 RPM and I need two REV Limiters, therefore I use the Daytona-Sensors CD-1Pro designed for Pro Bracket. "Quick" Research?

Yup...quick research was what I said. I can't imagine why anyone would buy anything that wasn't a two step unless it was purely a street car. You don't have to use the 2 step but it's there if you want it and cost isn't much of a factor unless someone is really cheap.

There you have it.

Look at the circuit board.....The HRR688 board is made by Daytona Sensors. They seem to have a lot on the ball. It's probably something like their last design, or maybe they designed it specifically for Don. Anyways, it is a far cry from the GM HEI module in a box that some complained about years ago.

Looks pretty decent to me, a nicely laid out board.

R.
