Ok. This is not a mopar, but, I have a question anyway. My buddy just stopped by and he has his moms car, a 1997 buick lesabre and the abs light is on and the rear pass. wheel won't roll forwards. It turns in reverse. I live in snow and cold but there is no snow/ice anywhere in the wheel. Thanks MM

ran into that before. If it isn't driven much, I think you will find the adjuster has backed out the brakes so far it locked up the drum.
Easier to roll backwards than forwards.

I had to pry the drum off so I could find the adjuster to loosen it.

The car is driven daily probably 10 miles a day. We are in the middly of a snow storm so my intial thought was ice covering the wheel sensor and the abs won't let that wheel turn. I wonder if i pull the fuse for the abs that might free up the wheel. Anymore thoughts? Or am I going in the wrong direction?

ABS won't cause the wheels to lock up like that. Actually just the opposite, it releases brake pressure to keep wheels from locking up. It's possible you might have some snow and ice stuck inside the drum, or like the other poster said, maybe the adjuster wheel is adjusted out too far. It could also be possible for the hose on that side to be restricted causing it to retain pressure. The ABS light is on because it is detecting that that wheel is not turning while the others are.

Let me rephrase. Driven very far, rather than very much.

The person I helped, drove his car 4 or 5 times a day.
Backed out of a long drive way, drove about a mile if even that. Backed out of his parking place, drove home for lunch, then back to where he went every day, then home.
Might have put 5 miles on the car, but backed up a lot, forcing the self adjuster out each time, till it locked up the wheel.

Could be frozen. Could be enough water in the brake fluid that it locked the wheel cylinder out.
Depends on how long ago you changed brake fluid.

Ran into that myself on my truck..just like the other guys said, its more then likely the adjusting screw. Redid the brakes on my ram and accidentally had it too tight..went from locking it up on gravel when i tapped the brakes to fully locking it up on pavement within a day..readjusted and haven't had a problem since! good luck!
