I have a mopar magnum race block P 5153452 360 mains. mopar instructions say must use 340 pan, the 340 pan appears to big at the rear seal area. the 360 pan will not sit down far enough with the milodon 41007 one pce gasket. Also the factory spider for the dog bones is hitting the lifter boss area. Has anybody ever finished one of these blocks off? Any advise greatly appreciated.

That is interesting because in the US they say all of the race blocks are supposed to have 360 pans even though there are several that use 340 pans. Looks to me like 360 pan will fit perfect. The lifter area is hitting because it is cast for 48 and 59 degree lifters. You have 59 degree so can grind off the 48 degree area for the clearance you need. Does the valley have the 3 bolt holes for it though

I thought the 360 had a bigger rear main seal?

Dump the stock lifters and get some MRLs, probably still have to machine the block for clearance.

Tons of meat to safely grind clearance for the lifter. As for the pan just put a little KY jelly on the gasket so it slides over without pulling the gasket down and distorting it and bolt it on.
