just got brand new hedman huslers. Whats best paint? don't want to ceramic coat them!

Find the highest temp BBQ paint you can.. I like
Rustoleoum BBQ paint.. doesnt gray out like some of
the cheaper paints

i've had good luck with BBQ paint also. Steel wool or scotch brite them good and clean with lacquer thinner helps too

Rustoleum BBQ paint on mine, easy to touch up if needed.

Would the BBQ paint work on bare headers? Im lookin at getting some TTI's and would rather have the uncoated ones and use the Hi Temp BBQ paint. That way if they get scratched or gouged (they will) they can be touched up.


PSO headed 632 from MM. Cracked cylinder, loose valve seats, low oil pressure, low cylinder pressure.
..... Now its a door stop....

Yes it will... clean the steel with thinner then give
them a few coats

What about the rustoleum high temp paint? It's good for 2000°.

they will last a lot longer if get the coated ones...
