Does this body style use the old b body shifter mount location? What parts do I need old b or e body parts? Thanks GTS

You will need the 4-speed floor hump and you have to figure out if you are going with a console or with out a console the floor humps are different and the shifters are different because the non-console shifter location is way forward and uses a longer pistol grip shift handle- the console type is the same as E-body), the transmission.. if you are going non-console you can use an older 67-69 B-body transmission and bolt the dog bone bracket to it then your actual shifter. If you are going to use/install a console you use a 1970-74 B & E body transmission, keep in mind that a 1970 transmission has a 2.66 first gear and a 2.44 first gear in a 1971 23 spline transmissions. A 4-speed pedal assembly- (not sure if 71-72 will work or not, and I am not sure on the transmission cross member..it may just bolt up-not sure.

The 4 speed Console is the same for 71-4 e-body but a 70 e-body will bolt in but not correct for any 71-4 B-body. The 71-2 pedals will bolt in but are not correct appearing due to the bends in the pedals...The 71-2 transmission crossmember will not bolt in since they use huge the isolater type crossmember....
