I have a simple question, I think. Are all 1968 440s RB blocks or are some B blocks. Thanks.

As are all 413s. The RB means "raised B". The deck was raised from the original B height of 9.980 when they wanted to use a longer stroke. The RB is IIRC 10.725".

R.

And yes, to those who are chomping at the bit, there were some RB 383s back in the day, but they are so rare as to be not worth talking about, in the same way that the first B engine was a 350.
