What is the "simple water test", if I may ask?
I missed that question somehow.
I was sent a newly printed broadcast sheet anonymously & the paper felt off to me, so I did a simple test with a drop of water.
I tested several original sheets & left the water drop in place for over 40 minutes.
The water drop was instantly absorbed into the newly printed sheet.
You can see the difference in how the paper reacted with the old, original scrap & the newly printed one here.

If you're serious about preserving any paper products for the long term you have to deacdify the paper not just keep them in acid free sleeves. I've used universityproducts dot com for document preservation mostly vintage movie posters but also my own build sheets.
Look out Mark those are "BROADCAST SHEETS"
Oh yes, the Chivvy mentality is rampant even with Mopar owners, just like posi... The broadcast sheet I took out of my 69 GTS in 1978 has been in a picture album since then and still looks the same as it did when I put it there, I looked at it yesterday! I think as long as you keep it out of the light it will be fine.
Never owned a chevy and the only Ford I've owned was a 64 1/2 mustang. Nothing but mopars with one exception and that was a 450 RWHP 86 Porsche 951 Turbo. ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif)
