71 FJ6 Charger OP mopar 7 Joined: Jul 2008 Posts: 403 NE Ohio	Motor has never been apart,cylinders look good. Anything to look for bearing wise that would make me want to replace them? Thanks all. '71 383HP FJ6 Charger SE

GODSCOUNTRY340 master Joined: Aug 2006 Posts: 2,525 God's Country Maryland	If there are any scratches, flaking, uneven wear patterns (could indicate bent connecting rod), dirt imbedded in them or a lot of copper showing replace them. If they look good after the visual inspection check the clearance with plasti-gauge, anything over .0025 I'd replace them.
