I have a msd 7al2 that I want tested anyone have any experience with sending unit to msd for repair if needed?

I sent my spare 7AL2 in. It cost me $98 with shipping. They tested it and changed the leads and some hardware.

I would take the time to test it myself before sending it in I've had two MSD race boxes die, one old MSD 404C three years ago and a 7AL2 last year. MSD couldn't, wouldn't fix the older unit They did repair the 7AL2 and return it quiclky I have a 7AC, maybe it is 7C, also that I put in the car while the 7AL2 was out for repairs to make sure it was the box.Nobody works for free and somethings get lost or messed up in shipping

I used Techwest for one of my MSDs and they did a great job quickly for a very reasonable price.
They also took the time to share their knowledge and make a coil suggestion that helped and saved me some money.
I highly recommend them.
