I was cruising the HAMB website and found this 61 Cadillac limo. The guy sold it to me for $350. He says it was parked in a barn in the 70's as a running car. The motor(390) turns over and should run and it has a clear title. I showed it to the wife and told her I was going to buy it and she gave me THAT look, then walked away. I'm going to Michigan in a couple of weeks to get it . I'm thinking black suede with red rims and maybe some old school pin striping. I know it's not a mopar but if they merge with GM then I'm good right?

That's been overdone. How about a dark purple primer with Bright Purple wheels.

My wife would like that. There's a super nice 59 Caddy Coupe DeVille with continental kit running around town that's purple with lavender pin stripes. It's one heck of a ride. I could go full redneck with it and make it a lifted 4wd . Just kidding

Just buy a quarterpanel and fender or two and make a copy of Johnny Cash's "One piece at a time" machine. LOL Bryce

Even if it was a Mopar, it would be the last thing on earth I would put money into. Now if you were talking 2 door, that would be a little better.

Wasn't there a tri-carb setup available from the factory for those?
Maybe that was '59?
