I picked up a shifter lever at the swap meet Sunday that I was going to try and install it on my Long shifter mechanism but maybe I will just cut and drill it for my Supershifter

Looks like a nice piece. Not sure if it would work on the Supershifter, but I'm sure you'll figure it out.
You going to get out for some racing this summer?

Larry I haven't made any plans yet this year other than Norwalk and I'm hoping my local track Dragway 42 opens up this year so I can make some passes there.
I hate to cut that shifter up but I only paid $30 for it so I figure why not make it fit my needs

That's pretty sweet!. .I went to a super shifter three this past summer. I put a similar handle on top of a hurst lever and it broke.. so I'd be real curious on a better setup.

hi, I broke a shifter tower just like yours . I sent it back to hurst and received a new one. the threaded end is not big enough for a pistol grip. needs a 7/16 stud end. long shifters have 7/16 ends

That handle is from a quarter stick auto shifter.
I wouldnt use it in a manual app...
But i guess with some work it could be done.

It's a Long Shifters V-Gate stick. I could show you one with the LONG logo if I knew how to insert pics from my phone.

Awesome, I really like those..do you have directly order those long shifter ones from G-force, I can't find those on summit or jegs yet..looks like the way to go.

I have one of these and I'm thinking of converting it to a pistol grip style LONG shifter.

I threaded up a Hurst pistol grip for my old MR.Gasket vertical gate shifter. Used it a few times, just didn't feel right, thought I was going to break it off. So switched back to the tee handle.

it's ok to butt heads, just don't do it with a butthead

Mike it is stamped HURST on the grip which is what made me curious as to when Hurst made a LONG style pistol grip. I've had a few LONG V-gate shifters and I've also had a few HURST V-gates.
I'm just trying to figure weather it's worth the work to install it on the LONG shifter on my Richmond 5-speed or just cut and drill it to bolt on my HURST Super Shifter an my HEMI box
