I have a 1970 Challenger R/T SE with a SPD of 10/1969. It has 15/7 inch Rally wheels and poly-glass tires. What is the correct spare for this ***NOT the SPACE SAVER***. 1) What does the rim look like, what would the correct numbers/letters be?
2) What size of rim?
3)What color of rim?
4) Does it use the same 15 inch poly-glass tire?
5) Will it fit in trunk if there is a rear window defogger with the speaker adapter?
6) what length rod with wingnut?
Pics are always welcome. Thanks, Steve

Thanks Alaskan TA. I have the bottle, bracket, short bolt, wingnut, white stem cap....now I just need a rim, inflatable tire, hook and I'm guessing tons of money. Anyone out there who has what I need? Thanks, Steve

One choice is correct or functional? A 15" steel wheel and matching size tire would fit and be functional as a spare. Sounds like the space saver is "correct" but I wouldn't want to run on one. I run a 17" spare to match my wheels/tires because I want to be able to roll on it as long as needed when needed.

Not that it is correct or proper but can a modern space saver wheel work as a spare. I have a space saver from a jeep Cherokee and its about the same diameter and bolt pattern and it is a space saver just wondering if it would work.

I have a full size in my AAR because I drive it. I had to finaggle it in and I'm not sure I can get it out if needed, it's a 235/70/15 on a 6.5 ralley.

Chalenger opening is much bigger than a Cuda's so you have a better chance.
