I hope I posted this in the right area. I have been searching for a couple of weeks now and cannot find the answer. I am in search of a pair of the air mixture screws for the outboard carburetors on a 340 6-pack (probably the same on all 6-packs). On the outboard carburetors they are located in the mounting base plate and usually have solder covering them so people won't adjust them.

Are they still available or is my best bet to just upgrade to the Promax billet throttle plate with the 45 degree mixture ports?

Do you have one to compare them to a standard Holley mixture screw out of a regular 4 barrel carb. like the early List # 1850 carbs? If not try calling the The Carb Shop, 909-947-3575 and ask them if they have them or not I've never tried comparing the two against each other but it wouldn't suprise me that Holley kept them the same If not try calling the Corvette Shop in Chicago, IL they (sorry, no phone number for them now ) may have some left also They bought all the surplus sixpak two barrel carbs parts from Holley a lot of years ago Good luck

You can get a set from Sixpack Solutions along with their special tuning tool to access them about $50 IIRC

highly recommend, Contact Moparts Member 69sixpackbee....or you can contact him (Bud Weaver) at supr69bee@roadrunner.com

without the adjusting tool, you won't be able to adjust when the carbs are mounted.

The tool only works with Bud's custom screws. Check out the following thread:

I'm OK with that, I'll have to read through it later.

Sorry guys for not chiming in.
I do have the kits still available. Many of the wintertime "work in the garage" guys swamp me with orders but I am in production with about a one week backlog.
Thanx to all who have had interest in my kit and a big thanx to those who use them!
The price is still the same. $45.00 for the 2-screw setup and $60.00 with all four including shipping.

I have some updated images.
Those I posted were from long ago when I was prot'ing the setup.

Here's some new ones:

Thanx,

Bud Weaver
