Yes, my heater is crying a river. It's been repaired at least twice and it may be time to send it to the big recycling bin in the sky.

But, with what to replace it? I have to have heat and defrost.

Can anyone help with part numbers or what to look for or interchange, anything like that?

Well, it wasn't the heater core, wasn't the internal hose either. But it WAS the heater valve that is buried in the Model 85 heater.

I think I found a NOS or NORS one at Arizona Parts.

There is brand new cores listed on Ebay. Don't know what kind of quality but I would try one before I would try to "fit" some other type in its place.....

a good radiator shop should be able to make you one that will work

Wow....didn't realize that they quit selling/making them....that sucks....hopefully aftermarket will come around....sounds like there might be some on ebay......not sure.

NAPA lists a new heater core also. I would check the number But I think its NHC 6603573 They are out there...You just have to look
