Hello, what is the difference between a 70 challenger and a 72 challenger disc brake spindle? Thanks

No difference for 1970-72. The big difference came in 1973 when E body cars started to use the A body knuckles rather than borrowing the B body stuff.

Thanks Andyf, What is different between those two? The reason I'm asking is I swapped my stock disc spindles on my 70 challenger to a disc kit I bought from speedway motors. The spindle looked to be bigger diameter on the new kit compared to the stock 70 spindles. Next year I want to step up to a better 4 wheel disc brake kit but I think I'll need to order the fronts for a 73 or newer car. (if they are a bigger spindle design) So they will fit the new spindles I put on. But I'm not sure.

In 1973, the spindle diameter increased where the inner bearing and seal seat. Everything else is the same.

I make spacers that adapt the newer rotors to the early spindles.

Thanks Dr Diff, that what I figured. The sent out 73 and newer spindles with the kit. I just wanted to make sure. So I guess I'll need 73 and newer Wilwood kit. Thanks again
