Their inserts are the worst, and absolutely kill performance. Since these are based on the same "disc" crap, I would expect the same problem.

My experience with the CC 3 disc was a major power loss, compared to open header.

Can't tell exactly what it is but I have used them in MANY systems and only had it lose power in one case. I always increase the collector diameter. If you are using a 3 inch collector it should be 3.5 with the muffler. I still use them in my DD street/strip car to this day. Same ET with them or open headers. They are quicker than other mufflers I tried.
The only time I lost power was a 540 BBC that had 3.5 collectors (which were too small to start with. Typically, he didn't want to get bigger collectors and actually TEST. He eventually sold the car.

The actual insert muffler works. YMMV.

Just because you think it won't make it true. Horsepower is KING. To dispute this is stupid. C. Alston

This may very well be the reason I had such a loss. My headers are too small for my 572.

I would say maybe 10 - 20%. It really isn't a big improvement, but there is a difference.
They won't work for street use! LOL
