How is the seal held onto the glass frame ? weather-stripping adhesive ? In the photo are 2 tabs that are bent over. My new seals don't have a slot to accept these, just a small indentation. Should the tabs be trimmed off to only leave a short section left ? thanks

What year? I think 70 is a one year only piece. My 73 just pushed on. The original ones pulled right off. The replacement were hard to push on.

1970. I ended up removing the tabs on the window and using weatherstrip adhesive. Seems to be fine. thanks

you have to poke the rubber seal at the indentations to create a hole for the metal tabs to go thru.

The metal tabs hold the seal at the base
