I was wondering if anyone knew what the difference between a 1998 Grand Caravan 3.3 Flex fuel engine transmission and a 2000 Grand Voyager 3.3 Gasoline engine transmission was?

I have a 1998 with an exploded transmission and can get a 2000 extremely cheap with low miles. I am told that the 1998 transmission is exclusive to the 1998 3.3 only. What is the difference?
