Monte... do those guys run traction control or not.. most if not all the track racing we arent allowed traction control.... yes street vs track are 2 different worlds but MOST of use still play by track rules.. I would think there is a hand full of cars here that with different rules and some street tuning they would be on that list........... JMO

What i find funny in these threads is there is all these mopars that could kick their azzes but very very few competitve mopars in heads up racing. When does the mopar world dominance start?

But yet none of the OK guys are in heads up either... so whats funny about it... as Monte said.. they would get their asses handed to them on the track

my impression was all the races were heads up just held at a different venue than a traditional strip.

I think there would be more but they aren't cost prohibitive. When I was starting to look in to heads up it made more since to sell and buy something I wouldn't mind so badly to put in a guard rail. My wife had talked me out of it. It just plain cost more to play.......and big blown Hemi's don't come cheap, I'm sure you know. World Dominance started in Top Fuel, Top Fuel Funny Car, Alcohol Dragster, Alcohol Funny Car, Pro Mod........

Maybe I got you wrong.. but I was thinking of the heads up racing done at tracks... as done in SGMP

I bet the slowest car on the list might go 5.2-5.0 in the 1/8 on a bad pass.
Really? You honestly think Kamakaze's El Camino is flirting with the 7 second mark? Or Derick.. or Varley.. Or Farmtruck or Andradi (sp)
(Maybe Chucks Mustang now that he's running a twin turbo set up.. )

sgmp??? its all radial cars. I have no interest to ad traction control to my car.
The radial part is true but thats what I thought of first... but arent the OK guys mainly on radials.. I dont know for fact

The"Chicago" race did not happen in Chicago, it happened in St. Charles county Missouri, and they waited until the rains came in before trying to race. Remember, it's their show and they hold all the cards, and if things aren't going their way, then here comes the scripted drama.
This is 100% wrong. The Chicago race took place on Schweitzer Rd, the road that runs between Route 66 raceway and Chicagoland Speedway, just south of Joliet IL.
This picture was taken the next day, and you can clearly see the dragstrip and dirt track grandstands in the far left of the picture.
Yeah, that is the road Dave referred to as a pos. Funny how any time he gets beat it's the roads fault.

if you take a look at that road you will see one lane heavily prepped and the other just a burnout. not to mention the rain. I wouldn't have even cranked up in the rain. thats crazy.
