Started on this 1948 Chrysler about a year ago. Just about finished, just a few little things left to do.
What I started with.

What it looks like today.

I love it. I've seen one of those before. I love how that's the factory nose, people can mistake them for being custom stretched, but they aren't. Nice work. I think the one I saw had Gen 3 hemi stuff in it

Looking for 1975 through 1978 B body 4 door sedan sheet metal or parts cars - monaco, fury, coronet. Please let me know

Nice work!
I've got a 47 so I know the amount of real estate and the curves involved.

Looks like you about ready for upholstery. I'd be interested in what that involves, mine needs it.

Jaco,
Welcome, I see these are your first few posts. Looks like you have a few nice Mopars. Care to tell us more about them, and what you have done with them? Gene

I love those big '40 - '48 Chryslers and DeSotos. Does yours have jump seats in the back?

In Egypt in the villages you'd see one as a taxi occasionally putting along, 4-cylinder Diesel powered with like a 3/4 ton truck rear end under them.

Kind of like Cuba, you know? Keep the body running with whatever falls to hand.
R.

Hey Rod. The interior is already finished other than the trunk. I can tell you it is a lot of work. I bought an old Juki sewing machine
a couple years back and have been learning how to sew. I could not find anyone I could trust and not rip me off so I am learing how to do it myself. Looks pretty good. I also did the bodywork and paint myself. I welded up 54 hole for trim on it and it still has that much left on it.
Here are a few more pics.

Hello Gene. I have had a few other cars that I built in the past. Here are a few pics of them. I built all of them.
41 Plymouht coupe

48 Dodge panel van

30 Plymouth 4 door.

The red is alot darker in person

30 Plymouth 4 door cut down to a 2 door. I had this one before rat was cool. Probaly the most fun car I have had.

and my 79 Lil Red Express truck

Just a few that I have done over the years. I have sold all execpt the 48 Chrysler and the Lil Red. I can only afford to have one car at a time so the 48 and the truck are for sale so I can start on the 38 coupe.
This is my next project. A 1938 Plymouth coupe.

Hope this is not too many pics. I know everyone wants to see pics.

I appreciate the offer, but when I bought this one, I got a BUNCH of extra stuff with it.
I bought the only few things I needed back when I got it going again (1 trim, 2 wheels, engine parts, etc.)
This was the trunk. The interior and the whole bed of the truck was full too.
BTW, I remember the painted delivery over on the HAMB.

Hey 66. The plan for the 38 is a nice hot 318 motor that I have and an auto trans. This I hope will be my keeper that I can drive and enjoy. I have had it about 4 years now and am awaiting the right time to do it. Right now it is just shop art. Hope to start on it soon but will need to sell my other cars to afford to start it. It is all ready for a small block Mopar and the frame has been updated to Mustang II frontend and a 8 3/4" rear.
