Who makes a pre-formed 1/4" lexan windshield for a 1966/67 Plymouth Belevedere?Or where can we find a replacement glass windshield?

Bob I bought mine for my 64 at the local auto glass place $165 for the part. I believe AMD makes them for 66/67 about $200 if you can't find one local.

any local glass supplier can get a glass windshield for you as long as its not a post car, if it is you are pretty much screwed, they are available but are 4x the money

I don't know about the lexan but replacement glass is not available, for the post 66 67 b-bodies. I bought a low mileage 4 door parts car for the windshield alone. I have a second parts car with a good windshield also.

Someone did tell me that the glass is available, but I have yet to see it with my own two eyes.

good luck let us know if you find it.

I have a local glass guy that can get a new glass for a post car, its $450. I have a good local friend going through this right now, he has bought 2 windshields from parts cars only to find out they are scratched all to hell, he wont buy the new one because it has the sun/tint strip at the top like all newer glass does.

Any chance he wants to sell one of the scratched ones on the cheap? We just need it to make a mold for the lexan sheet we have.

I've found about the same price for new glass $450 shipped

Thanks, Pro Glass can do it if you provide them a glass windshield to use as a mold. They don't have a template for it at this time. We already have the lexan sheet. Ideally, we just need a junk windshield to use as a mold ourselves. Bob is working on my car, but it didnt come with any glass.

Optic Armor says they have it for $470+ship, but he didnt sound confident it was for a post car. They are a last resort since we already bought the raw sheet to DIY.

thanks for all the replies

Please post where you found the "glass" or was it that you found lexan windshield?

For Glass.

Bob came up with a couple leads (don't know the details on his) and I was contacted based on a wanted add I took out. Hopefully one pans out. Nothing in hand yet, but he was going to pull it this weekend.

I did find a place in Oregon who has some new in stock, but they are the tinted with the stripe at top. Price for that was almost 500$ shipped to VA. I can dig that back up if you want.

For more discerning tastes, there is a guy who has a full set - front back and all sides, which is apparently NOS with proper codes... He wants over $1500 though.

We just need something to make the mold, not really concerned about what it looks like.

Mike
