have a 98 w bad tranny found a good 96 tranny 1500 2wd 318
plug is diff. can I switch valve body and use?? anything else diff.

I found out the 7-8 pin plug is the same. only diff is tail shaft 98 has only one sensor on it.'not sure what it is
96 has 2 on it one is speedo, other is below it dont know what it is. will 96 workin 98? or will it have no speedo?
