I didnt make ONE race in 2014 thanks to Dynamic . They screwed up the stall speed TWICE on my converter...that they rebuilt . I heard the same exact thing from a racer at the track that I know.

Avoid Dynamic. 1 guy on the phone was very nice, but i could hear an older guy in the background screaming and cursing that it was MY fault. Thought I had Indy on the phone !

Im sending it to PTC next month to get it adjusted correctly this time !

I have had decent luck with Neal Chance.
I believe the best is Coan. The quality/durability of their converters is second to none. They are very good at setting your combination up if you get them the necessary information.
Choosing the correct coupling and stall components for the converter can be tricky Depending on customer expectations which may or may not be well communicated can leave an unfortunate reality that everyone will miss some combinations.

I have run Coan and Quick Draw converters. Coan was a good converter considering it wasn't built for my car or a transbrake. I did crack the front cover but like I said, it wasn't built for a transbrake. My quick draw was built for my combo and it is very nice. Very reasonable prices and turnaround. Billet front cover option is nice because if I ever want to go to a 9" converter it can be reused for that one. Give Jason at multi performance a call and tell him you are looking at having a convertor built. He will help you out. 330 276-2831. Beep

Lenny at Ultimate....best service and product on the market. My car picked up 5mph and ET over the reworked Coan that was in it. The same converter has been behind three motors 446/512/499 and has worked great in every application. Now there may be more in it...but Lenny won't sell you what you don't need and I'm not chasing ET's.
