My old car is done like gup did his. I have those headers still for a w-8 head stainless 2 1/8- 2.1/4 step but not equal lengths.
One day I will have something cool here.

Mine is weird it's a tall deck that some one decked .250 out of it. I would just worry about steering column.

and if he was it would be the wrong type of header. That type of header is only okay with a Power adder, not a NA motor with No collector.

I have ProParts in my 68 Cuda right now with 440-1 heads on a low deck. My engine is also set back a couple of inches and I still have one tube that barely touches with small front tires.
It was such a PIA to get the clutch out I ordered in a set of weld up Headmans and will be spending some of my winter update time fabbing up some new ones.
With a tall deck in the stock location they might fit better, but I HATE having to work on anything near them right now.
