I posted this message at another forum and ended up with dead air so I thought I would give you guys a try:

I need to replace the inner fenders on my 70 challenger and would like to buy ones with correct details so that I don't have to modify them. The only repos that I can get a real picture of are AMD (attached) and they have 71-74 details (bump out on LH for battery hold down, indent for breather/fuel line on RH). I've seen repo inner fenders with the correct details on other member's projects, but I don't know who the manufacturer is. Goodmark ? Dynacorn ? I will also need to know who to buy them from.

the 71-4 style is all that's available repro AFAIK, either modify the areas, or look for NOS/used

Believe that Goodmark makes the 70 E fender wells and AMD makes the 71-4 wells.

Also the left well with the hump for the battery hold down is 72-4. 71 doesn't have the hump.

Late 71's also have the hump. Some have the threaded nut, others do not. Not sure when the cutoff was...

What's the difference with the floors.

Attached is a pic of a new AMD floor pan. It has the 72-74 details. The ones that I know of are the dimple in the hump for the shifter and the indent in the rib under the seat.

71 B/E floor

72 B/E floor. Has a couple humps behind the cross member where the 71 is flat.

Goodmark inner fenders I recently bought match the 70 model year nicely and are stamped crisp like OEM

I thought that Goodmark made them but I never use reproduction metal myself.
Also the right one is 70E only and the left one is 70-1E and 71B.

On the rear footwells floor pans, when did they change the most forward body plug hole from being recessed down to up?
Was it just the 70 model year that was recessed down?

71 has this bulge in the corner. 72-4 is flat.

71 does not have these humps. 72-4 does.

I have seen several early 72B/E that have the 71 front pan. Think they just used up the 71 pans before changing to the 72.
