have seen pics of 1970 Challengers with both silver blower motors and black blower motors. Supposed to be OEM restored cars, does anyone know what would definitely be correct? Thanks.

Not sure which one is which, but one is for AC cars and the other is non AC.
I've only seen clear zinc IF the car had A/C. If not, it was black. My A/C car has clear zinc

Production line 70 and 71 motors were zinc.(A/C and non A/C) I've read that factory replacements were painted black. At some point the production line units changed from zinc to black. My 73 has its original black painted blower motor. So, 73-74 is supposed to be black. Not sure about the finish on 72's.
I'm referring to E-bodies....
