I have a near-perfect hood off of a '69 Valiant 2 door post I pulled out of a local 'yard about 5 years ago because...well, it looked perfect, and I guess you can't have too many spare hoods for cars you don't have.

My Goddaughter has a nice '70 Duster - are they the same hood? The car's not anywhere close so I can't measure/compare. The Valiant's sure looks like it from what I can remember of the hood on the Duster - they both have the raised section running down the middle.

I was just on Auto Metal Direct's site and they don't list a hood for either car. Figures.

They physically fit but there may be "crumple zones" in the 70 hood. The 70 Challenger had an issue with this as the early build versions did not comply with crash standards and the understructure of the hood had to be redesigned.
They do fit though.
