Does anyone have a Factory Build Document that gives the proper location for the 1970 Challenger & Challenger R/T Grille Emblem locations?

I see photos of nicely restored Challengers with the emblems centered (up / Down) in the grille and toward the drivers side (left side of the grille), yet I recall that when new in 1970, the emblems were located on the Left Lower side of the Grille - Not Centered (Up / Down).

If you reference copy of the "Motor Manuals" - (Repair Shop Manuals) for the 1970 - 1974 model years, they show photos of the front end so you can identify the Model Year of the cars from the Grille design. Those photos clearly show the emblem locations to be on the lower left side.

So I'd really like to know if there is a build document giving the precise location of these emblems so I can get it right on my car.

I know it's details like these that make the restoration effort correct and I want mine to be the best representation I can achieve.

yes please post a pic of proper placement..

I have no factory prints for the grille RT placement (just about everything else but!)

Placement is usually all over the place...I blew up a few 1970 back in the day roadtest magazine cars...some early pilot, some production

I had the same question when finishing my car, finally just went with this pic. I figured it was just a another new car when this pic was taken. (sometime in late 70 or early 71?)

The attached Ad is exactly how my Challenger R/T came from the Hammtramck Plant. So I guess I'll go back that way.

It appears that there was a lot of variation coming from the factory, or maybe it was different from the LA plant???
