I have a 67 Valiant 2 door post car, I need some vent window and vent frame parts, a guy on the site has offered me the parts I need but are from a 4-door car, does anyone know if they are exactly the same vent window frames?

Thanks!
Joey

I won't swear to it, and I'll deny it if asked, but ... yes, I think so.

I have a '69 2 dr sedan, I know the windshield and rear glass, headliner, pretty sure I remember the rain gutter is same, so with that much interchangability I would take the chance that the vent windows will work.

Nothing like a definite answer, right?

Edit:

OK, I have 67, 68, and '70 parts books. Just went out and looked this up.

All three call for same part #s for vent glass and rubber, for 2 and 4 dr sedans, Valiant and dart.

To venture a guess, I would say the vent window stuff probably remained the same on the 4 dr til the end.

Hardtop model tho, I didn't check, But due to the difference in the windshield I would say the vent glass is also different.

Jim

'67 and '68 Dart 2 door sedans use the exact same doors also.

if it was a hardtop I'd say they could be different. I know on B-bodys the 2 and 4 door cars use different. Not sure on an A-body. Looking at pictures on the web, the 2 and 4 looks dang close. I guess ask for the part #'s and do a "google" I guess you could measure your windows and ask him to measure his.
