Who out there knows where to get a good quality turn signal switch for my 70 challenger. I just attempted to install a POS that I bought on ebay. I never learn. I need the whole sha bang with correct wire colors and a new plug end. Thanks!! Tyler

Not a Challenger, but on my '85 D150 ... which fits from the early '70s on up, and also fits passenger cars.

A while back I thought I had a problem with my ts switch, bought a ebay Standard brand, TW4 I think. Thinking was, name brand, might be USA made.

Thought I cured my problems without using the switch, and put it away where I could find it. You know where this is going, right?

Soooo, when I needed it to get the brake lights working, I couldn't find it, and bought another ebay one, this one un branded.

Before it got here, I found the first one, so when the 2nd one got here I compared them.

Both made in Taiwan, identical to each other, and at replacement time they had same color codes and even the same color plug as the factory one I took out.

And everything is working now, I are a happy camper.

Is it possible you got one for a tilt column? Tilts were Saginaw, used different components.

It takes gasoline to interest me.

I bought two from the Chrysler dealer a few weeks ago. The four-way knob is wrong but it can be made to fit.

Nope, no tilt. The plastic loom plugs lined up so I plugged em' in. When I stepped on the brake the left rear turn signal started blinking. Then I pulled all the little connectors out of each socket and realigned as per schematic and now the rear lights flash when ignition is engaged. I'm done.

Got mine from Collectors Auto Supply (?). Not cheap but exact as what I removed, even down to the part number on the wires, etc.

Of course Chrysler couldn't make anything easy for 1970. See where the triangles are pointing?

Here are at least three versions for 1970. I'm not sure about the 70 A body.

2947503 C Body - Hazard off in far position from column w/ cornering lights:

2947509 B Body - Hazard off in far position from column:

2947905 E Body - Hazard off in close position to column:

The wiring on the switch was mirror imaged, too.

Yes, I do. Here is one restored from a while ago when I put the finishing touches on the knob. I will have to showcase the next one I do in my JS Restorations thread in the Moparts Hot Deals & New Products folder.

Do you have any rebuilt 70 B body's for sale at this time? I do not want to jump the line on the OP, but if you have a few, I'd be interested too.

If you do not have any at the moment, what roughly would be the turn around time if I sent you mine?

Right now everything works on mine. It's just that the flasher is a bit warn in the off/out position to where if I just touch it, it breaks the circuit on the brake lights.

So I too have been searching the net for a switch, & meanwhile not wanting to tie into my original switch till I thought I could fix it. I dissected a cheap aftermarket one that didn't work right to see how it works.

With no rivets or bolts to fit, I just wired it back together to keep from loosing the parts.

On this aftermarket one, all the eyelet rings were loose except on the green wire. The rivets weren't bradded all the way down. May have worked for an all LED tail lights but not with all incandescent.
