I have a 440 block with a casting number of 2536430, which, by several sources, makes it a 67-72 block.
The pad on the passenger side at the bottom is blank.
The top pad has markings in font much larger than I have seen on passenger cars - photo attached. There are coarse machining marks; don't know if that's factory, or not. Marine block, perhaps?
Anyone know?
Robert
