Does anyone have a picture taken without trunk divider in car or can explain how the 4 upper rear seat back retaining hooks in the front of the package tray area in pic below contact and retain rear seatback against the rear seat surround? Do the brackets extend through rear seat back loops and use angled section to provide adjustable tight fit or does tight curved hook section only at the bottom of the brackets catch the seatback frame loops or wires too? Thanks for any help!!

IIRC there should be a cross bar at the top of the seat that these hooks slide through. I.E. you slide the seat up into them. There are two loops at the bottom that get screwed to the floor pan. All this together holds the seat in place.

PS the plastic piece that runs along the top must be installed before the seat.

Thanks for reply. I wasn't sure which part of the 4 upper brackets contacted the 4 retaining loops on top bar. It would seem the angled part if upper bracket contacts bottom of seat loops but the brackets have hooks on end and wasn't sure if just the ends engage seat. I have upper brackets welded in and just wNt to make sure everything is lined up right when I install lower brackets. Thanks again..
