Were these used on a 73 / 74? I'm pretty certain they weren't.

So I have this customer that insists the splash shields I show above are missing from this picture of his car (I know those aren't for a 73 Satellite). I'd like to help but I don't recognize this are or the splash shield that would go here.

These are the headlight splash shields. Other than the big pass side engine well splash for 400" engines these are the only splash shields I know of on the 73/74 Satellite.

As far as I know those metal shields are all that go there. They bolt onto either end of the backside of the front valence and to the structure of the fenders. So they are located in the corners where the font valence and fenders meet. There are several seals ... the ones you already mentioned, (the headlight splash shields and the big block passenger inner fender seal)as well as a small squarish seal back on the upper juction of the inner fender/firewall located behind the plastic wheelwell insert and another that lies in the front valence below the radiator that is similar the charger version you sell except it is shorter in length. Attached pic shows the location of the metal panel that your customer sent you.

You know your Satellites!!!

That small strip in frt of the lower edge of the radiator radiator, someone sent me a photo and was supposed to get me one. I need to get one so I can duplicate and add to my kits.

Engine well one for big blocks, the original rubber ones burned up. I had a customer complain about mine getting hot (it's RIGHT by the exhaust manifold). So I bought a small roll of $$$ .093" black silicone. Nice but expensive. Obviously glossier than the OEM rubber one.

I know of the ones where the underside of the fenders meets the top of the firewall/cowl. On 71-72 they were masticated rubber with plastic push pins. 73-74 they were molded plastic. Though all will interchange.

Headlight ones are a given.

The picture of the plate he emailed me does show what appears to have been a seal along the edges.

At this point until he can hand me one to duplicate (if there was one) then my hands are tied.

Thanks for the effort. I'll try to reciprocate (little engine humor).

I have the ones that go in front of the radiator down next to the front valence. I'll see if I can dig them out and make an image.

Okay I found the valence seals. Here is a pic. I went and looked at your ebay site and these look pretty similar if not the same as the charger ones you sell.

Here are the square seals where the fender apron and cowl meet.
