After buying my car from a friend but before getting it here to NJ I sent out the A/C lines to be rebuilt.

Here in lies my question/problem: 1972 400 4bbl B-Body.
Originally an AIRPUMP car N95.
What are the various applications that I could get a NON AIRPUMP car A/C line from? Does it have to be B-Body only? or Bigblock only etc...?
Thanks Ron

A/C Lines for your application with 400 4bbl are specific to the suction and pressure lines going to and from the compressor. You can find these hoses on 70/71 E-bodies and 71/72 B-bodies Big block only 383/400/440. All other bits and pieces hard lines, condenser/evaporator can all be used from big or small block cars from those same years and body styles. For my car, a non air pump car, I used the hoses in your second picture. I have never seen a suction hose like one in your first picture

I think the hose in the top pic is a replacement made with no muffler.

John that is my original hose, it was replated and re-hosed. It turns like that to go around the airpump. Airpump is not on car in the picture.

The attached picture is before it went out to Classic Air for restore.

I know I need what I shown in the second picture and it sounds like "Challegator" answered the application question I posed.

This is a hose from a 70 383 challenger. I think this is the one you want. Yes they are hard to find and $$$.

That one on the left looks like it would fit but the muffler is different.

The part number is still on it and it is for a 70 Challenger 383.
