Putting a 71 cuda together, bb/727 and this crossmember seems to be putting the mount to far foward
I need help with this

http://brewersperformance.com/proddetail.asp?prod=TC074Chrysler standardized the trans mount location in 70 doing away with the need for two cross members. Then in 71 on b body cars they changed to the spool mount for the transmission. Hard to tell for sure from the picture but yours favors the correct one. I posted a link to brewers website for help. Tabs, rubber mount goes toward the rear.

I think the poly mount I bought is making the fit a bunch tighter and has a little more meat on the forward edge that mounts to the trans
