Have no idea what it would cost..... but you could get one of the Challenger/GM tail housings that has the bosses for the shifter stand off attachments and build out from there. The Challenger shifter adapter mounted on the trans itself is not that expensive. I found one, a new one at that, for $99 on the ebag. The GM part is a Cadillac CTS-V application. It stands off even further from the trans than the Mopar part. I think this is a GM 6060 trans.

I don't have that trans, I have this one
Got 'cha, so you do have the T56 Magnum and not, technically, a TR6060. I think you threw a few people off with that.
I am surprised to see even at the rearmost mounting location that the shifter is too far forward. Do you have any pictures of where it's ending up in the car? Is your car an original 4spd?
From what my research has shown is you're stuck with it where it's at. The only alternative would be to try to get a Challenger, or similar, tailshaft on it, but I'd expect a bunch of hurdles in doing that. Such as losing the speedo output, going to a much different transmission mount and maybe losing the slip-yoke style driveshaft.
That is the setup I was planning on buying for my 5.7L Hemi swap. Is that the Ford or GM version? Close or wide ratio? I am very interested in any mockup pictures you may have of it in the car!

I think this is a GM 6060 trans.
Likely, that's definitely not a Mopar driveshaft flange.

American powertrain says they have a shifter that will move back 3", but when you look at the pics, it looks like it can move 3" total from full forward to full rear, which means it really would only go 1 1/2" each way of center
American Powertrain is who I have been working with and they mentioned the shifter as well. Honestly, I wouldn't sweat a small difference, 2-3" in shifter location won't make it or break it. You will quickly get used to it and not notice after very long.
Thank you for the pics, how have you reworked the torsion bar crossmember? Or are you going to coil overs?

I went with the RMS set up
Very nice! Your pictures have me worried about the shifter location relative to where the torsion bar crossmember is.
I know it needs to be completely fabricated there, but It seems like the upper portion of the crossmember would want to share the same real estate as the shifter.

I read somewhere(I think) that if you use your crossmember and try to rebuild it up around the trans, you have to move the shifter to the most forward position, in the far back position it is right on the crossmember ..

Yup
Most forward as in flipping the shifter mount you have now 180º [Orange] or using the Yellow spot for shifting?
Sorry for the thread-jack, I've been scrounging for e-body specific T56Mag info lately.
