I purchased this truck at the beginning of the summer and figured I would be able to get it back on the road just to drive it and enjoy it. The motor was not in it, but came with the truck. The previous owner bought it for the A833. After getting it home and peeling back the carpet a bit more, it really needed a new floor. Thanks to some scores at Carlisle, got what I needed and put the pans in place. Instead of getting another A833, I ended up going with the NP435 tranny. Got that mounted to the motor and just got the motor in tonight. I have been working on it during the weekends when I have time, but it has been taking a bit longer than anticipated. I wanted to have her running by the end of September, but looks like it will be next season now. Some photos of the progress. Enjoy.

Floor cut out, with Carlisle score laid in place.

Reassembled the motor with the tranny from another truck. The clutch was like brand new. Everything looks good with a fresh coat of paint.

Finally got the motor in tonight. There sure is a lot of room to work around with a 318 in a truck.

It has been a little over two months since I posted. With the holidays and all, I have not had too much time to work on her until recently. Picked up a set of Mopar Performance valve covers, and bolted everything else up, including the headers. Ready to try and fire her up tomorrow.

My air cleaner arrived today and I bolted up the overflow tank, coolant hoses and the radiator
