I'm in the process of rebuilding my first engine and I'm not sure what size fasteners retain the rear main seal cap on a 440. I had to remove some RTV from the two fastener heads, but they do not appear to be SAE. Please refer to the photo. Any thoughts?

3/8 12 point socket. Lol, just seen the post above, maybe I am incorrect, been awhile  .

No, your "on point"...... had to check for myself. Thought is was 7/16" 12 point so I edited my post
