I'm getting ready to assemble another motor and was wondering if anyone has used the Brad Penn moly grease on there camshafts and if so did it cling well the surface on the lobes.

Is this BP's moly grease that they have available for general extreme pressure use and or is it intended for lobes? I am a fan of their "green" oil.

What Dwayne Porter recommended that I use when I install my new flat tappet cam in my Hemi is Joe Gibbs Driven Assembly Grease part number 00732.

He said it stays on the lobes and doesn't drain off if you don't fire the engine right away.

He also recommended using Joe Gibbs break in oil too for the cam break in.

The assembly grease.

We use EP0, EP1, and EP2 (mostly Mobil) on our Turret press at work.

Good stuff, but not sure if it is the best for cam break in..

That's what Hughes recommended and what I used. (actually, seems like it came with the cam) Worked well for me...
