Its a Tranzact pro brake. Copy of the Griner Engineering model, 1222G20 or could be the clean neutral model with a neutral after 3rd position. You have to push the brake button in Reverse to back up. www.tranzactofindy.comJohn

Thanks John. It does require that the TB button be pushed in order to back up. Are both models from Transact like that or just the later model one? This car has been nothing but surprizes. A friend traded for it, and I'm tring to help him get it to his liking. It had a Derale deep oil pan (extreamly deep, w/cooling fins in the bottom) on this trans, but no filter extension . Thanks for your help. At least I know what we got now. Brian

Any way to tell if this is a TCI or Transact brake? How would you tell them apart? It does have the large soleniod like the TCI picture and also the screw and double washer set up over the seperator plate where the accumalator spring would normally be. I don't see any logo, name or part numbers on it. Thanks, Brian

The TCI Brake I had, had a part number on it. The tranzact brakes I have do not have a part number or serial number on them.
