I'm building a 72 scamp and wanting to know the length on the Rear end and wheel/tire combo. you guys have. I know the stock rear A-body is 52 1/2 long. I am going to run Cal tracs, and mini tub the car, want to run a 10inch wheel and fit 275 drag radial under it, but also have room to run a 28/10.5 slick. so post some rear lengths and tire size (or what you did to run this size tire combo.) Thanks

mini tub and spring relocation with a 275/60 is a piece of cake.
The right way to go is car tubbed, get wheels and tires you plan to use and measure mount to mount... no mistakes!
Wheel backspace plays a HUGE part of the equation.
That's what I did on my 69 Dart and 325s.

Keep in mind that the Valiant has a MUCH bigger wheel opening than a Dart. An 8" factory ramcharger wheel (4 1/4 or 4 1/2 BS) has pretty good clearance with everything stock, a little careful work and some backspace juggling might get you what you need.
It takes gasoline to interest me.
