LAR_414 OP master Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 4,573 ...gently down the stream	What are the options here? I see $29 to $100 bearings out there for the input shaft on an 18 spline transmission. Why the differences? Which bearing should I get?

Get one from Brewer, good service. Many bearings are repackaged and are made by the same company but I cant tell you who is related to who. The cheaper ones are probably Chinese or cheap Chinese and the more expensive ones are probably the better ones. Careful, your character's showing!
